Peer Support For All Those Touched By Cancer

Kindred Connections members provide support and encouragement to cancer survivors. Survivors who have gone through similar experiences can offer a special kind of support.  We can provide one-to-one assistance in person, by phone or e-mail.

We provide ongoing training and support for members as they reach out to others.

We offer an outlet for the expression of anxieties and concerns that survivors have about cancer.

Our members demonstrate that both physical and emotional adjustment to cancer is possible and that one can survive and thrive.

How to Become a KC Supporter

Survivors who want to become members complete a Kindred Connections Volunteer Application (PDF) which can be submitted by mail.  You will be expected complete an initial orientation which is approximately 2.5 hours and will prepare you to provide peer support.  There will be ongoing, periodic training and support.
